For Something Completely Different ...

For today, something different a post about my parents-in-law, don't worry they are avid readers of my blog, and it was my mother-in-law who told me the story.

One day my father-in-law rushed in the house to tell his wife that he couldn't find her handicapped parking plaque. He had searched the car, but no sign of it. Thinking someone may have taken it, and realizing my mother-in-law had a medical appointment coming up in downtown Toronto, he knew the pass would be required.

He immediately took off for the licensing office and brought home papers for my mother-in-law to complete in order to get a new pass. Once done, he turned to leave, at which point my mother-in-law found the missing plaque. It was stuck firmly to my father-in-law's ass. That's right, bang smack in the middle. So, he had stood in line at the licensing office all that time with the sticker attached to his behind, and not one person brought it to his attention.

On the plus side, this little incident does answer some questions I've often wondered about my husband and son. Let's just say, the apples don't fall far from the tree.
